So there I was….. blog deep in this line of thought…. and tonight was the SECOND night I forgot my password. In other news today there is a viscious attack camel guarding my desk at work. He is VISCIOUS I say, VISCOUS!
I really need to hunt up a laughing man t-shirt. It kills me how popular of a character he is now compared to when I started obsessing over him as I was watching fansubs before the series hit the US. At least I found another fansub fiend who made a really damned good wallpaper at the time (I would post the wallpaper but I would prefer to link to the artist’s site as well).
Sarah Michelle Geller(sp?) is possibly going to play Alice in a movie adaption of the game American McGee’s Alice. This has potential :D, but it won’t be out for some time to come.
Work rocks. Couldn’t ask for a better work environment. This company is actually making good on the promise of training. I will be attending the O’Reilly Open Source Convention in Portland Oregon during the first part of August. My boss tells me that a certain presentation I signed up for will be a life changing experience. Apparently the gentleman giving the presentation, Damian Conway, is by far the best presenter of all time and in this particular talk he really shines. We shall see, but I am sure I will enjoy it.
I need to scurry on back to Amature Radio Field Day. I get to play with a thermal imaging camera :D. TOYS!!!!. As I was reminded earlier by a friend, the only real difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. I will post all about field day once it is done.
